November 2, 2008, the Expressions - with Rosie Cossar as a soloist - performed at the Contessa Awards and fashion show at the Sheraton Hotel, Toronto.

In October 2008, we had another performance at the Metro Toronto Convention Centre, this time at the Bell Gala for Sick Kids.

The show involved having elaborate makeup done: above are Rosanna Tso, Diana Kwon and Rosie Cossar. On the right: Evelyn Koop with former Kalev gymnast and Expression-member Irina Funtikova, who is a model and worked at this event.

In September 2008, the Expressions performed at a General Motors celebration at the Toronto Convention Centre.

In July 2007, one of our AGG teams with soloists Rachel and Rosie Cossar, performed at an occasion at Estonian House, in honour of the Estonian Prime Minister.

In the spring of 2007, Dustin Pim taught our gymnasts a hip hop routine for future performances. It was FUN!



Our Juniors performed at Estonian House in the spring of 2006:



Some of our gymnasts performed at the Royal Canadian Mint project with Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation event on March 31, 2006.

The gymnasts also assisted as ambassadors for the event and by handing out Collectors Coins to the audience.

In September 2003, the Expressions performed at a fundraiser for the Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation at an Argonauts' game.

In November 2002, they opened a convention at the Sheraton Harbour Castle Hotel:

The group performed several routines, including the one with which they placed 9th at the World Championships earlier this year. Kalev's latest Olympian, Emilie Livingston, also performed.  In 1996 the first Red Ribbon competition was held in Ontario and the Expressions participated. As their free routine, they performed one of their most popular routines ever: "Starlight Express", choreographed by Brian Foley (featuring Vanessa, Susanna, Jessie, Gloria and Talvi in these photos). They also used it at a dance competition and won the silver medal.

In addition, it has been used at many performances, e.g. in a two day fashion show at the Scarborough Town Centre (photo on the right).
