Getting ready to compete:


The Senior International Team continued its training during the summer in order to participate in the Svoli Games (World Cup IV) in Helsinki, Finland in October.

Choreographer Antton Laine visited the group in September to make sure that the group, with some new members, was on track. Alla Kocheleva has also been coaching the group, along with head coach Evelyn Koop.

Current members are Carolyn, Dora, Nataliya, Kerstin, Kimberly, Jackie, Diana and Christina. However, Diana was injured and not able to compete at this event.

During the Worlds, the founders of the International Federation of Aesthetic Group Gymnastics (IFAGG) were given an award for being part of this sport for 10 years. Recipients were Annely Riga, Maija Ceming, Evelyn Koop (and missing from photo, Marta Selmeczi).

During the year, there were some changes in the group and at the dress rehearsal, the day before leaving for Finland, these gymnast were training. Emilie is still with the group but will arrive in Tampere one day later than the others, due to exams.

This year, Kalev was able to send two junior team to the Worlds!

Some of our gymnasts performed at the Royal Canadian Mint project with Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation event on March 31, 2006.

The gymnasts also assisted as ambassadors for the event and by handing out Collectors Coins to the audience.
